Seven Sisters Mid-Winter Sunset
This Impressionist Limited Edition Fine Art print is of the "Seven Sisters" on Copt Hill, Tyne & Wear at sunset in mid-winter. It was a bitterly cold evening, but with a colour packed sky, both of which I've tried to capture  here. There were quite a few visitors, including 3 other photographers and several walkers. I've managed to capture 1 couple walking their dog as they head onto the mound.

I’ve developed the artwork by bringing together a series of photographs of the scene, taking them at different angles, distances, height, etc. The photographs are then manipulated and aligned to focus attention on the main subject, but also tell the story of its environment and circumstances, working them as a form of art, rather than a straight-forward photograph, making a great artwork in its own right.
